Have faith in your dreams and someday your rainbow will come smiling

We have reasons to believe
that Litera Valley School has provided a different alternative to
schooling – schooling which helps the student master the concepts,
schooling which is not just academics or just fun, but a very well
planned and executed mix of the two. After all, education is all about
strong conceptual foundation and application of information in
day-to-day life. For this to be achieved the talents, skills, and
abilities of each student need to be identified, nurtured, and
encouraged so that s/he is able to reach greater heights. Students need
to be provided with a platform to think, express, and exhibit their
skills. It is necessary to empower them to negotiate several issues that
confront them, with the teacher being a facilitator. We often make the
critical mistake of considering children, regardless of their age,
class, ethnicity, or background, like a blank notebook that is yet to be
written upon. In doing so, we often fail to realize that each child has
his/her own individuality, special skills, and talents. Therefore, a
good educational system is one that helps a child to nurture his/her
talents and overcome shortcomings by providing appropriate,
all-encompassing education. This enables the child to develop his/her
personality and equips the child to face the challenges of life. As
Anthony J. D’Angelo once said, “Develop a passion for learning. If you
do, you’ll never cease to grow.”Good education aims at nurturing the
mind, fostering individuality and developing one's personality. However,
we need to bear one important basic principle: The aim of good education
is not merely to prepare the child for life, it is more so to provide
her/him effective tools for living a fuller and happier life.We believe
that Education's purpose is to replace an empty mind with an open one.
We are of the conviction that giving roots of values is significant so
that that our pupils remain firmly rooted to the ground. We give our
students wings of ambition, so that they can soar like falcons to touch
the skies and endeavor to make them global citizens who can look beyond
geographical boundaries and promote a culture of peace and universal
brotherhood.
